We work hard at making every part of your visit pleasant, relaxing and memorable, from a warm welcome at reception to the way in which our dentists take the time to listen to any concerns you may have.
If you are anxious or nervous about visiting us, please let us know and we will do whatever we can to help put you at ease. If you feel you need an extra helping hand, we can offer sedation therapy.
Dr Andre Potgieter B.Ch.D
Dr Potgieter qualified in 1985 from the University of Stellenbocsh, South Africa and served in the South African Defence Force from 1986 to 1989. He moved to England in August 1989 to continue his career in dentistry. Dr Potgieter enjoys all aspects of dentistry and is especially interested in cosmetic dentistry which he feels has developed enormously over the last decade and offers exciting options to improve your smile.
To keep up with all the latest developments in dentistry he attends post graduate educational courses on a regular basis which have included Aesthetic Dentistry, Investors in People dental programme and Surgical and Prosthodontic Implantology.
Dr Francois SmitB.Ch.D
Qualifying from the University of Stellenbosch, South Africa in 1987 and now based in Norfolk, Dr Smit’s work includes dental implants, advanced restorative dentistry, aesthetic and cosmetic dentistry, veneers, crown and bridge work, bone and soft tissue reconstruction, grafting and full mouth rehabilitation.
Since 1989, Dr Smit has earned a reputation for being passionate about dentistry and provides true quality and exceptional work. He is a member of The British Dental Association and The Association of Dental Implantology, The American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and The British Society of Oral Implantology.
Marieke De Ponti
Marieke De Ponti qualified in 2004 at the academic Centre Dentistry Amsterdam.
Marieke is from Holland and has lived in Norwich since January and is really enjoying the area.
She is a member of the General Dental Council and NMT Dutch Dental Council.
Marieke is interested in cosmetic dentistry and also spent a year in Surinam treating children.
Colette Shayer
Colette worked as a dental nurse for 6 years and prior to qualifying as a hygienist in 1995. She has undertaken courses in extended duties and is fully committed to providing patients with the most up to date information and quality care.
Colette plays a key role in managing oral hygiene and treating gum disease. She is especially receptive to nervous and anxious patients and takes a gentle approach to treatment.
Enrolled with both General Dental Council and British Society of Dental Hygiene and Therapy.
