Here at Corner House Dental, we get a lot of satisfaction out of transforming our patients’ smiles, helping them to feel more confident about their teeth day-to-day. If you’re feeling reluctant to come in for a check-up because you feel you’ve been a bit lax with caring for your smile, please don’t worry. We’re here to help you achieve your smile goals and to help ensure your teeth stay healthy for life. Read on to find out why a bad smile shouldn’t turn you off visiting the dentist or the hygienist.
Our compassionate team are never here to judge
We completely understand that patients sometimes feel the fear of judgement when it comes to their teeth. However, as trained and experienced professionals, the Corner House Dental team are used to seeing a variety of smiles that require varying degrees of attention and care. One thing we are never here to do is judge you – it’s our aim to help and support you, providing the treatment you need and deserve.
If you’re a nervous patient, we can help
We’re passionate about working with nervous patients to help them conquer their fear of the dentist. If you’ve been putting off coming in for a routine appointment and you’re feeling a bit self-conscious about your teeth, please do let us know in advance and we can do everything we can to help you feel relaxed.
We’re also able to offer sedation therapy or acupuncture if you need an extra helping hand to feel at ease before a dental procedure.
We’re here to help rejuvenate your smile
If there are issues with your teeth or gums that need attention, it’s our job to help. The sooner you come in for a routine check-up, the sooner any problems can be spotted and a bespoke treatment plan drawn up. It might be that you’re unhappy with multiple aspects of your smile. If this is the case, we can carry out a smile makeover, whereby several treatments are used to restore your smile to the way you’d like it to look.
Looking after your general wellbeing
What happens in your mouth can affect other functions within your body. For example, severe gum disease (known as periodontitis) has been closely linked to heart disease and diabetes. Potential symptoms of mouth cancer can also go unnoticed (particularly in older patients) without routine check-ups. This type of cancer has a 90% survival rate, if spotted early.
If you would like to book a routine check-up with our friendly team here in Norwich, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
