At-home Whitening
Our at-home kits include three appointments, so we can monitor the whitening process to ensure it’s brightening your teeth as predicted.
At your first appointment, we will take an impression of your teeth to create the bleaching trays. Your bleaching trays will be ready at your second appointment (often ten days later). Here, we will give you your trays along with your bleaching instructions.
You’ll need to add the whitening gel to your trays and carefully position the trays over your teeth. We’ll show you how to do this correctly to avoid complications. These trays are designed to be worn overnight while you sleep until you have reached your desired results.
We’ll schedule a ten-minute review two weeks later to ensure you are happy with your results. There’s an option to have additional in-house bleaching if you’d like to achieve even brighter results.
In-house Whitening
During our in-house whitening, we use a thin plastic device known as a ‘retractor’ to hold your lips and cheeks away from your teeth. We’ll then apply a professional-strength Hydrogen Peroxide gel that sits on your teeth for about 40 minutes.
