Are you worried about going into 2017 feeling under confident and anxious about ageing?
Facial rejuvenation (Botox) is a great treat to yourself or to a loved one – start the new year off with new confidence and look like a younger you!*

Other factors that contribute to older-looking skin include:
- Frequent and prolonged sun exposure/regular use of sun beds. The sun/UV breaks down the collagen and elastin found in the skin which renders the skin thinner and more wrinkled.
- Excessive and frequent consumption of alcohol.
- High levels of anxiety or stress.
Why Botox?
Botox, (or Botulinum Toxin Type A) is a very simple and minimally invasive procedure that yields fantastic results for patients around the world. Treatment is designed to temporarily relax the muscles in your face and smoothens out age lines to render your appearance more youthful. There are two proteins found in the skin – collagen and elastin. Botox stimulates the production of these proteins, sustaining a more youthful-looking appearance for several months afterwards.
After seeing the success of their first appointment, many patients here at Cornerhouse arrange follow-up treatments.
Botox targets age lines and wrinkles in your face, more specifically the lines that develop between the eyebrows, forehead, corners of your eyes, smile lines, chin lines and lines between your mouth and nose.
It generally takes 3-5 days for Botox to take effect and the comprehensive results (which last up to 6 months) are evident after around 2 weeks.
